where to start? help needed!
WILLGTI:
i have a black 3dr GTI MK5 2.0T completly standard and im looking to start performance upgrades, i was thinking first thing first to give her some bigger lungs with and induction kit and most people on here seem to rate ITG intake with the GTI's, where to go after that? should i start wityh a DV? and then a remap? i dont really want to put a massive loud exhaust on the car i would rather the noise coming from the engine than a backbox. any suggestions would be great as im not really sure where i should start?
cheers guys

get a stage 1 map first. Then go from there.

Not really as the ecu should adapt to the extra air intake.

most company's change an extra £50 to go from stage 1 to stage 2 or 2+
The biggest performance increase you will get will be a stage 1 remap. IMO you will never notice as big of a difference with any other modification. Plus you will then be able to see how the car needs better brakes and something to reduce the under steer the car suffers from imo too easily.
An induction kit isnt needed till you hit stage 2+, you wont need an exhaust till stage 2 (even then you only need a sports cat)
