ETTO but I find the "Plucky Brit" routine as depressingly mundane.

What the Monaco GP lacks in overtaking opportunity it very much makes up for in driving skill and atmosphere - In my opinion.

I watched and enjoyed Quali, the whole race, and on BBC's Red Button.

The BBC team's presentation was especially good.

Maybe... but theres no point it coming across as a nob on camera, because when you eventually drive for a decent team you'll have lost all of your fans  :happy2:

Not having so many fans doesn't seem to bother Raikonen.

I saw the short interview with Lewis by Lee after the race and he merely came across as disappointed that he hadn't finished higher than he started. That's something which is totally normal to feel for any competitor in any event whether professional or amateur. But if you start off not liking someone it's much more difficult to be truly objective and revise your opinion.

It's ridiculous for us to base our character judgements on such short isolated snapshots. Overall, Lewis is a great racer and a human being with normal emotions and a genuine love for what he does for a living.
