Golf GTTDI 140 2004 plate Turbo
G-Lader:
I'm guessing a clutch and flywheel would be close to the top of the list.
daboy3000:
I can't see the oem clutch dealing with 235bhp, mine is just about dealing with 200bhp.
mortygttdi:
You'll never see any where near 230bhp with just a hybrid turbo, even the gt2260 will only give you tops 220bhp you will need dig further into your pockets for uprated injectors and a new clutch and exhaust then you'll be looking best side of 235bhp,
I needed a new turbo has mine actually imploded and threw the shaft out the back of the car  cost me around £900 from CR Engineering for the stage 2 GT1756 which is a standard 140 turbo with a bigger compressor housing and better internals.
Speak to Darkside Development before you do anything has they do all the turbos and clutches and every thing else you can think of to sort you out.

G-Lader:
I spoke with Midland Turbos this afternoon, if mine is just needing seals and bearings £185 + vat, they collect and return as part of the price.
If it's fecked and needs a complete rebuild it is £360 + vat and again collection and return included (both standard rebuilds) as they don't offer a hybrid for the BKD engine for some reason....?? :scared:
Not too sure it's worth spending twice the price for a hybrid as I'm not interested in trying to catch R32's (the RS4 does that too well! :driver:)
If a healthy turbo will give a bit more pick up from the bottom end with a remap and downpipe then that's maybe the best option.
She would kill me if I had the upgrade the clutch and the like........
Andy:
midland turbos are very good
