GT 170 dpf removal

(1/4) > >>

Snickers:
I recently bought a 07 GT 170 and I am thinking about the dpf removal. I have a couple of questions which I'm hoping you guys can shed some light on.

I'm thinking of removing the insides of the dpf and having a software map to delete all the dpf data, as this is cheaper than having a Milltek fitted. Is this fine to do? This wouldn't cause any problems to my car would it?

I'm thinking of going to fr&r tuning in Bradford, anybody have any experience with them? Any other tuners I should consider?
Thanks.

i am looking to have this done to mine soon with the above as only down the road from telford.

Snickers:
Huddersfield!

Knocking internals out of dpf is cheapest way of dpf removal as the main part of the cost is labour (no parts req)
