I have indeed. Had DPF delete (just internals removed) and EGR delete also with no issues.

Iv also been having thoughts about doing this, but my only concern is smoke. How much will it smoke?

I hady MK4 pd130 mapped to 180 and it smoked like a bitch which really got to me.

Cheers

Black smoke is unburned fuel (too much being injected against the amount of air) . A quality custom map should smoke very little (or not at all) :happy2: (R-Tech Nick will do you a proper map  :notworthy:)

Mines a Shark map with DPF removed and it does smoke a fair bit but only when you give it some toe. Normal driving and cruising speeds its pretty clean. I was shocked at the amount when I first saw it on the dyno but have learnt to live with it. Passes MOT no problems.

Iv always seen diesel smoke as normal, which is why we have these DPF's.

R-Tech did do my MK4 and i was very pleased with it. Im up that way at the end of the month again so might fly in for a chat.

ANther question is MPG, with my previous car it was improved a lot, will i also see this on the new car?

I average around 45mpg to the tank at the mo....

cheers
