Tdi 140 tuning advice
« on: April 22, 2012, 08:08:46 pm »
Hello all,

New to the forum and new to my golf mk5 tdi140 sport.

Got a little budget at the minute and want to have a bit of a advice session from some people on here as to what to do with my car power wise.

What's avaliable out there?

I will be looking at anything at the minute so any advise would be brilliant thanks chaps.

I live in the Sheffield area, but work in the armed forces and am based in portsmouth so any recommendations for companies near me would also be brilliant.

Thanks alot.. This is my car at the moment btw.

Thanks do you reccomend one of those tuning boxes that I know you can get for about £150, have many people used these and are they worth it or would you reccomend a proper rollers map?

Hello, Newbie here,

I have a 140 TDI golf, I have had a remap done by Angel tuning, on a independant roller as they did not have one the car is making 185BHP and about 290 torque. Made alot of difference.

I also have Front  GTI caliper carriers which allowed me to installed 312mm disks on front with EBC yellowstuff pads.

Definately reccomend a remap first off then?

Any other mods go well with the remap? Intercooler and such?
