There you go, i'd stick with that, any longer and you are getting into grafting territory in order to remove it - not impossible but certainly more work and for no greater benefit.
vRS Carl:
I never got on with it and i now use FK1000p which seems to do a very good job.
I also have some GTechniq C5 but i haven't used it yet due to how well the FK is doing.
When i next give my a car a thorough clean i am going to do a direct comparison between FK1000p on one side of the car and C5 on the other side (referring to the wheels of course).
muckipup:
I've just used Jetseal 109 for the first time so we'll see how I get on with that.
I am confused by the recommendations to put a top coat of wax on wheels - I did a thin coat of Collinite a while back and found that brake dust stuck to the wheels like never before.
vRS Carl:
You need something that is specific to repelling brake dust. Hence FK1000p is good as it is a High Temp wax. GTechniq C5 is also apparently good as this works in a similar vein but at the nano level.

even though it didn't repel the brake dust you can easily wash it off with a shampoo and no graft and be safe in the knowledge it didn't embed :happy2:
If you want to repel the dust see the recommendations by Carl, however your wheels are still going to get dirty at some stage, so may as well use whatever wax you have rather than forking out for specialist stuff - depends how serious you are about it all...
