Greenie's New Daily Whip! (.:R content) **Updated 01/09/09**
Greeners:
As a few of you are aware I was on the hunt at the beginning of the year for a CW R32. As the search was fruitless I decided to go for a different colour but stick with my plans for a different looking R32.
So a Reflex Silver 5 door (Had to give SWMBO a reason to let me have another Golf!) DSG was found and duly collected from Hadwins VW last month (Big thanks to me old pal Flora! :happy2:)
This is the car as she was during the first week or two:
Next was a cat back Milltek with Carbon ceramic black tips:
And a Euro .:R badge!
And of course I needed a trip to A1 to 'change' the style of the wheels from this:
To this, dark Anthracite with a polished lip:
Gotta say I was blown away with the finish and they have transformed the look of the car!
And last but not least was the work I've had done today. I was never happy with the silver on silver look at the front of the car. The brushed aluminium looks great on the Blue and Black cars but just looks lost on the silver. So after a recommendation from SteveP :happy2: I spoke with Alex @ Chameleon Graphics in Daventry who duly sourced the Black Carbon wrap I was after and I booked the car in for today. Several hours later this was the finished article and I have to say he's done an amazing job and even put up with my 'can you do this, can you do that' requests all day!
Front Grille:
Lower bumper spoilers:
Rear badge:
Im going to give the car a full polish and wax tomorrow (supernatural ) so will post some more then. For the time being heres some of the fly splattered beast from today:
:driver: :happy2:
And yes I know it needs hitting with the lowering stick! :P
