Tfsi_Mike:

I have a gremlin with my highline dash...

Had it fitted & coded. It worked fine.

My mfsw buttons where fried. I tried a mk 5 Pirelli mfsw and the buttons worked.  I think plugging into the mk5 wheel altered how the clocks react/ work though as the mkV Pirelli wheel had a little control box/ module inside the wheel for the buttons because now I can't access my menus either  :sad1:

SurreyED30:
Not much left to do then  :P, Im lucky and don't have any squeaks from my car thank god as like you said having a squeak hat you don't know where it's coming from must do your brain in  :signLOL:.

I'm looking at fitting cruise soon with the 08 trip stalk aswell which I bought in January.
Just not that much in a hurry to fit then as I have been tidying up little bits That annoy me like my calipers and other tired looking parts.

I also have big plans for mine just waiting on a few things to come Into place then it'll be go go go

Keep up the good work mate, I will keep my eye on your thread  :drinking:

Tires are a barstewards time of the year lol £600 straight out the bank haha but needs must with extra power

Seen your thread on that Mike, was hoping you would have got a solution to fix yours, which could have fixed my problem too!

I have been talking myself in to changing the steering wheel, maybe go for the mk6 one, but only to hope it would cure the problem... What if it didn't ?

Then thought it needed the trip computer stalk for it to work, but when I spoke with Ed, I'm now not sure that is possible  :fighting:  Why is it never easy.???

Would have loved the polar working to keep an eye on things, if I get to the track this year !

Nope not too much more to do, just when you think your done, new ideas arise, what else can be done, then its back round in a circle, changing bits that don't even need to be changed  :signLOL:

Yep the squeak is from the rear ARB, so need to get it off and some new arb bush grease rubbed round it, unless anyone is aware of another grease to use?

The ARB Bars are from whiteline.

Look forward to seeing your new bits ! any clues? Hope it all works out good for you Jake....  :popcornsoda:

New tyres are always a good buy, expensive hit, but always get better traction till the tread wears down again....

Thanks again for the compliments !  :happy2:

i also say " yep thats me done with modding the golf now " my boss says what's the point in changing something that don't need to fixed/changed  :signLOL:

i want a full set of ARB but waiting on a full poly bush kit to come up on deal from demon tweeks or somewhere first, then do the ARB and SALK at the same time.

I've got a list as long as the M25 but the realistic plans that will happen will be revealed with the next few months

i love the Goodyear Eagle F1 Assy's i fitted to mine not so long ago.

where you based? would be nice to see this car
