.
Loving that silver carbon bonnet. It goes so well with the silver body paint. John Hurdy had one on his silver car so I've seen it in the flesh (for thousands of miles!).

Was funny how many people had to touch it at shows and meets lol

Thanks Robin   :happy2:  It used to be John's!!!
I cant decide whether to colour code it or not, i have the locking pins to be fitted as well, I wasnt to sure with the bonnet lifting or having any knd of movement, I was just waiting for a carbon fibre windscreen  :surprised:

The attention i get with it on is unreal and as for ppl touchin it at shows & meets i can agree 100% with that.  :rolleye:

Where they rub it & touch it you get tiny swirl marks  :fighting:  but the rest is perfect...

I can say that when i put the orignal bonnet back on, I did notice a handling difference... So the extra few kgs make a difference

Great Job Expensive Mod  :jumping:
If it's not broke, Mod it.....

Don't colour code it. Theres no point spending all that money on fancy carbon fibre and then hiding it. The mirror caps are a smart touch too  :happy2:

@ scopes:

I wouldn't colour code yours - The silver carbon is very subtle and it makes your car look special.

Thanks Robin means alot to hear you say that!    :happy2:

It kinda reminds me of a silver GT3 RS or GT2 RS  (correct me if im wrong) that has the carbon fibre bonnet on it, but you can notice the car is two-tone due to the bonnet...

I wouldnt be one for too much attention  :jumping: :jumping: :jumping:

What way could i do the locking pins then?
Have them wrapped or colour coded maybe just left plain!

You'd find it very difficult to vinyl wrap AeroCatches and for the wrap to stay neat on the edges.

I don't know how well paint would last due to use.

Well added this mount in there somewhere through time, funny how you just start to remember the wee things...

It made a slight difference, i noticed it was there

A short time after i upgraded it with the THS sub frame & engine mounts

I would say these where one of the best mods i had added to the car yet, the difference was unreal.  :driver:

There was a bit more cabin noise & vibration through the car, but got used to it after a good few miles. The car pulled & drove like it had a load more horses under the front wheels.

I noticed quite a bit of movement when on the RR, these puppys sorted that out,    I would highly recommend these to anyone that has not upgraded theres!

Replaced these bolts at the time, peace of mind thing

How nice this is to change gears with, Shortened it by about 2 cms, something i got used to very quickly...
It's not untill you drive another car you realise how much of a difference they make   :driver:

To add more power i added a milltek downpipe with a 200 cell sports cat, heatwrapped & painted for a nice clean finish, have no pics of the downpipe at the min.
I matted the downpipe to the OEM cat back exhaust.
It give more power +  a real nice note from the exhaust...

Through time the milltek cat back was then attached, the exhaust note then changed

From this:

To This:

A bit dirty in that photo

With the help of a friend, Soon after we wax oyled the whole underneath

All the arch linners where taken out to seal as much as possible, some parts sprayed & the rest plastered with a brush
