Aerospace 303 - Application Tips

(1/3) > >>

andrewparker:
Hi guys, I received a bottle of Aerospace 303 the other day and tried it out on the rear window wiper mechanism.

To apply I cut a washing up sponge in half and applied sparingly on the wiper. I then left to dry for a few minutes and buffed with a microfiber.

I'm a little unimpressed buy the results. There hasn't been much colour change and it seems to have left a mottled effect.

Has anyone got any tips before I tackle the rest of the car?

andrewparker:
Just found this - http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/blog/2012/02/303-aerospace-protectant-demo-video/

andrewparker:
Probing a bit further into this is would appear that 303 is great as long as it doesn't get wet. Is it really useless on exterior trim?

I've just tried some on the interior and left the buffing and it looks great.

Frenzy:
Bin it/ Sell it on ebay or save it for the interior only and use Poorboys Natural Look for exterior trim?

I put some PB on the skirts, bumpers and the rear wiper 2 weeks ago and they still look like brand new. Definitely got the best results from applying and buffing.

andrewparker:
I'll most probably use it on the interior/engine only, but at £16 a bottle it won't be going in the bin!
