Mk5 GTI Decat DP fit Ed30?

Hi,

 Does a Mk5 GTI fsi decat downpipe fit a Ed30 without any modifications?

Im not sure if it'll mate up to the turbo or that the oxygen sensors will be in the same place?

I doubt it will. The diesel turbo probably won't have the same outlet diameter or angle/orientation as the k04 turbo. Als diesel cars have no lambda sensors, or o2 sensors. Finally a decat pipe on a petrol car won't pass MoT emissions.  :laugh:

I meant the petrol versions.  A decat listed for a 2.0T Gti (K03 Turbo) - will it fit the Ed30 (K04 Turbo)?

Yes it will fit!
Depending on its diameter you may or may not need a reducer to fit it to your cat back.

Many thanks!  I'm planning to get a 3" DP that's listed for a MK5 GTI, hopefully that won't need a reducer to mate up with my OEM cat back!
