Super resin polish is just a filler, not an abrasive so will not remove the scratches. It will hide them to an extent but this will eventually wash off.

I would borrow a DA or rotary and do the job properly!

Definitely borrow a DA, they will be gone in minutes :happy2:

Just pick up some proper polishing compound, Farecla G10 is quite fine, you can get it in halfords.  Should take 10 mins or so few a few light scratches. Just do it by hand.
