opinions on linear throttle map?

R-Tech have offered to do a linear throttle map on my car tomorrow.

however i quite like lightly touching the throttle and having it pull on the motorway.

I presume with a linear throttle map you have to push the throttle more so it will give the impression the car has less power?

opinions?
