Keeping Alloys Clean
Jules86:
I have this and jetseal and prefer jetseal tbh.
Dont use any wheel cleaners!!
A bucket of wash solution 2 times a week (once if you drive less) will keep them shiney! The key with wheels is not to let any dirt build up, that way they will wash clean in minutes. i can do my wheels (with multispoke r32 alloys) in 5 mins
Steve82:
I use Collinite 845 to seal alloys and it works well, couple of coats every 2-3 months.
bigbo:
so im guessing from this that its personal pref then, seems to be lots to choose from :rolleye:
Jules86:
Collonite is the shizzle to be fair! Costs more than poorboys iirc?
I find poorboys quite hard to use (very gloopy and get can into little gaps you cant get out!)
Most sealants or LSP's will provide enough protection. Get the wheels off and get them spotless first. I still need to do mine, might do it before autoperfection come round :jumpmove:
WILLZIE:
it is preference! must of got a bad one jules, my poorboys applies easily and comes out nicely, but then you have multi-spokes which require a little more effort.
