How badly does a remap affect Clutch & Gearbox wear?

RedED30:
Revo can supply you with an SPS (Serial Port Switch) to allow you to switch between your stock map and the Revo map, i'm sure other companies do something similar.

Which map did your girlfriend go for mate? I'm guessing they invalidate your warranty. Heard some can be switched back to Stock easily?

Torque when mapped 317lb/ft. Not concerned about the warranty :signLOL:
The ST3/SPS handheld devices can store and switch between maps.

Mr Savage:
Cheers guys, £600 for a remap seems extremely expensive when I've been offered the exact same service for £250 though, rolling road & all.

Probably best sticking with the ones recommended on the forum (here's  a few):

- PDT (north east) - custom map
- R-tech (midlands) - custom map
- Revo (all over uk)
- superchips (all over uk)

I can personally recommend R-Tech as they will give your car a full diagnostic before and after and will custom map it on the dyno right before your eyes. They are a reasonable price too  :happy2:

i was wondering about this as well, and got a reply to one of my posts by PDT themselves

its quite a basic reply but explains exactly what you need to know
