Golf GTI Misfire / Judder
PaulGTI:
PCV valve could be knackered ?? have a search on here for it. Or if any of the pipes to / from it have a hole in them this can cause vacum loss and cause judder
raptor_tom22:
I haven't pulled it apart yet to check the PCV properly but will have a look to see what state it's at the weekend. Thanks for the help and advice though :)

It's not resolved. Saturday while drive from a friends wedding to the reception the car almost went into limp mode. Pulled out of a junction and accelerated to 60 then it wouldn't accelerate any more, couldn't get it to rev past 2500 for about 3 miles and was juddering again! This is getting very frustrating to say the least. I have how ever fitted a forge catch tank today so maybe that might help things. Hopefully!

What would ppls thoughts be for this on changing the rear pcv breather valve
raptor_tom22:
Well 2 days down with the forge catch tank and all is ok so far. Fingers crossed this may have solved it but will update again in a week :)
