Snow Foam and Iron X

I'm hoping to get my first snow foam lance and iron x delivered over the next day or so and I'm after a couple of pointers;

1  The car has never been snow foamed before - how long do I leave it on the car to dwell before rinshing off?  Do you just leave it to dwell or do you have a aggitate it?

2  How long do you leave the iron x on the wheels for?  If left too long does it cause any lasting damage?

Any other advice on using either of these 2 products would be appreciated as I haven't used either before.

im no pro detailer but i will tell you what i do/did

The snow foam i spray then do all the little bits while waiting for it to fall off the car, i wouldn't agitate it.

Iron x, once its doing its job it goes red, so i let it go red few more mins then washed it off. The instructions were very clear on the bottle and following those got me very good results. Oh btw, it stinks!

Not only does the actual product smell, but my driveway wreaked of rotten eggs mixed with sulphur for 4 weeks after I last used ironx. If I use it again, I'll drive my car on to the road an apply/rinse it there instead.
