I used to own a 2005 225 meg with few mods and over 260hp. Now i'm in a Leon 2.0 tfsi with DSG

Really miss the megane, compared to the feel of the Leon it was like a go-kart.

Can only imagine how much better and more responsive the R26R is compared to mine, not to mention compared to the VW feel.

I've done a few performance mods to this but just enhancements as to how I felt it should have come out the factory. The handling and grip really is something else.

I did a track day with a friend last year who has a turbo'd Honda civic with just over 300bhp, full FIA cage and properly stripped and track set up and there was nothing in it and mine was fully standard then.

We're all on the MeganeSport forum so you've probably seen it about. I had an S5 BMX registration, you may recognise it from the plate?

This thread has made me realise how much I miss it, especially the Ti exhaust.

yeah I know the car you owned, a great combination and thankfully still been properly looked after as well.

went to the VW Unphased car show on Sunday in Preston,

was a very good show for their first show

heres some pics, red wheels hopefully on this weekend, they're away getting wax'd at the minute

I was on the Fueled Society stand, a local show that should be massive this year

Pikey Motorsports:
nice

JCWT:
Always loved these, but when I was looking to buy, my mileage was huge :(

Just booked and sorted 3 days at the ring next week.

Just over a week to get the car ready for the trip
