I know it was a while back, but any issues in getting VW to go 50/50 on the boot rust thing? Going to be having words with them soon about mine that's all..

Also, the r32 setup under the 17"s any more pictures? I'm dubious about spacing issues but I know people have run it before..

Look forward to more updates.

Thanks for the comments.  No issues with the boot, still a bit annoyed they pay for the wings and only 50/50 on the boot but I took what I could.  I dealt with Listers paint shop in Coventry and they've been OK.  Wings being done shortly, second time lucky but this time I'll have them completely replaced rather than patched up  :sad1:  I hope they've got rid of the hyundai i10 courtesy car, I'm 6'6" and that was funny turning up to work in that last time

The R32/S3 calipers and 345mm discs run fine under Monza 17's.  No spacing issues on mine or anyone else I know who've ran them  :happy2:

Now that really is a compliment, thank you  :drinking:.  Car drives better than ever at the moment even at 98k. Should have changed the N75 and console bushes ages ago

Thinking about CDL conversion early next year if I can pick one up for the right price.  Everything should be in place with the hardware I have for some pretty good numbers.  :happy2:

Thanks.  Install was really straight forward.  Biggest ball ache was getting the new DAB line throught the tailgate to body rubber grommet.  Some people split them to get the DAB line in then tape up and I now know why, I managed to get mine through without any damage but it was quite a tight fit and involved a few attempts. :happy2:

For anyone with an early mk5 there is a guy selling these as kits on Ebay.  (nothing to do with me by the way)
