Yes, and the privately owned ones are probably obliged to display a notice forbidding unauthorised parking so that they can then enforce it.

The problem nowadays is everyone is so concerned with Health & Safety, they'd probably just say no just in case something happened to someone and they were liable for agreeing it. Crazy I know, but that's the way of the World in 2012. Anyway, do we need permission to turn up in a car park? We are parking 20-30 extremely welll maintained and cared for cars, none of us will have had a drop of alcohol, no drugs (David Guetta is bringing those in the evening) and there really is nothing we could do to upset anyone. We are not going to be doing donuts or drifting round corners (only because we are fwd!  :laugh:)
