Before I start approaching campsite owners, can I assume everyone will be in their own 1 man tents?

No Brokeback Mountain for you Ian  :signLOL:

Mines a big one (Family Tent) that is, would I still be welcome?

We need someone with one of those VW camper van tents - that would look cool

Kalpsn2000:
I don't currently own a tent but will probably get hold of a two man person  tent for the meet :happy2:

Most of the 2 person tents seem to be very cosy for 2 people.

I don't want to piss on the parade but many camp sites don't allow camp fires. Metal dustbin lid on bricks can sometimes solve the problem.

Pity I still don't have my 18ft tipi and pot belly stove - I've camped out in all weathers in that and with the fire inside they are bone dry.

Don't worry Robin, the 2 campsites I've identified so far allow camp fires. I wouldn't touch them with your bargepole, let alone mine, if they didn't!
Camp fires are an essential element of camping in my book!

Better get my name down for this too then!  :happy2:
