Hybrid fitted

(1/2) > >>

Trekmeister:
Just had a stage 1  hybrid fitted to my GT 140 (I will be happy with 200bhp so stage 2 not a biggie for me) and just put my generic shark remap on which I had from the standard setup. First impressions are:
the turbo comes on later 2500 as opposed to 2000 rpm, the car seems to rev easier upto 4000rpm and when my foot is planted it really takes off and pulls well. Will the turbo come on earlier with custom map or is that set by the turbo itself?
Just spoke to Rob at Shark who has recommended a custom map as opposed to tweaking the generic so its booked in next week at a reduced price of £300, as a returning customer, cant wait to see the results!
I have my performance clutch waiting (under my bed) so that's not going to be too much of an issue if it slips.

Andy:
the map make the car pull like a train about 2500rpm or thats how mine is :happy2:

Can also shorten the actuator arm a little to smooth out the n75 duty cycle (log block 011 in vagcom)

1. I have no idea what that means lol
2. Does that apply to the diesel as well (I have the GT 140)

I would be careful about driving it hard without the correct map. We all know what happened to Sammy with bis K04. Id just stick to normal town driving till Shark sort you out with the correct map. I keep hoping they will do a dyno shoot out as I only live ten minutes from their hq.
