Stage 1 k03 powergain with Milltek tbe
Pullafacial:
Hi all, currently have a k03 gti on an Rtech stage 1 map and a forced air filter.
What powergains and differences can I expect to achieve by adding a Milltek TBE.
Thanks
bacillus:
You really need the software to be tweaked for the tbe so don't expect too much of extra hp with your present map.

I would have to look it up but I think that on my K03 GTI with Revo Stage1 and only a flat panel filter in the OEM box, with the Milltek TBE (which I had fitted a long time before any remap), my car dyno'd at about 220-230 bhp on JKM's Dyno-Dynamics rollers.
I don't know what the R-tech Stage1 remap is like.
What's important is the smoothness of the curves on the dyno plot rather than the bhp number. Also that the AFR plot is nicely flat and even.

My stage one R-tech map with K&N panel filter and pre-cat removed made just over 241bhp on JKM's rollers on the last dyno day. Very smooth curves too (see Feb dyno day thread near the back).
You should get around 15bhp from a Turbo back exhaust :happy2:

Is that with or without another map?
Mine made 243 with stage 1, nice map.
If I fit the exhaust and get the map tweaked, is that what's refered to as stage 2?
Cheers
