What MPG are you getting?

not a gti but a diesel but it should make you feel better ...
A3 2.0 TDi 140ps DSG with superchips map, 30 miles per day average is 35mpg thats driving however i feel, with a little respect it'll hit 39mpg, on a long run its around 46mpg. I currently have 340 miles on this tank and the light is about to come on.

Sat the cruise control at 56mpg down to JKM on monday to meet up with Mr Hedge......... 43.2 mpg, thats in a dsg Edition 30., with no aircon on to give that tad better result.

You sure you're driving a GTI??!!
On a run, driving sensibly, Ive never seen an average of over 39mpg!
I cant believe its possible to get up to 61mpg from a GTI!

Yes i am serious.....and no, i never said i was driving a GTi.....i drive a GT170D Sport

Consistently around 28 mpg over nearly 4 years and except when on European trips (22 mpg) or training (11 mpg lowest seen for one day).
I'm surprised by the wide variety of mpg amongst GTI owners.
