carlack68 leaves a great finish great protection...as below...

Car-Lack Long Life Sealant  ’Acryl Wax’ gently protects your bodywork by providing UV protection and a hard durable acrylic finish giving advanced protection against the harsh weather elements that include rain, heat, cold/freeze, salt, acidic contaminants (eg bird waste), grime and other pollutants such as mild detergents. This is the perfect partner to Car-Lack Systematic care in that it can be layered on top of the base product giving enhanced protection. One application can last as long as 12 months!

As CarLack ’Acryl Wax’ contains no cleaning agents it can be layered on a frequent basis to build up an extremely durable protective coating over the surface over an extended period of time. Also, due to the enhanced acrylic properties over CarLack-68 Systematic care - it builds a smoother, more uniformly reflective finish giving an unparalleled high gloss sheen.

Please note this product is also known as Klasse SG and werkstatt Acrylic Jett.

On my Red ED I have previously used Victoria Red Concours Wax as my LSP but am now using the Poorboys Natty's Red Paste Wax and will see how that goes over the winter months. Couple of coats sholud see you right for 3-4 months IMO.

Standard detail mate with a clay, cleaner, glaze and wax although this time ill use collinite instead of dodo juice for durability.
I usually do the the major detail once a year detail in april wheels of underside and arches to get rid of the winter salt.
Generally i have an end of winter major 24 hour detail, a start of winter 12 hourer with my winter wax and clean and top up monthy probabably applying wax 4 times a year all in.

If you dont want to order anything special , get to Halfords and get some Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection , that is a sealant. A couple of coats of that covered with a coat of a wax of your choice will give you a good level of protection for the winter.
