Pchende:
Hi again
How do you rate the B12's thinking of getting the same kit for my jetta. Can i ask what size wheels do you run and have you had any rubbing issues since you lowered it
Regards
Paul
Stanipkiss:
No worries Paul, I highly recommend the kit (sportline) for the driving that I do and the F1 assay 2's all-round it works really well. Comfy enough for all types of driving and I have never heard it rubbing or scrubbing on the arches (no need for screw mod on front arches) I even tow a 600kg trailer tent with a full boot and kids in the back (picture below) Don't forget these are not coilovers and are a set lowering of 35-50mm. I have been thinking about upgrading the rear ARB to see if it improves handling. Talk to Graeme from GNJ motorsport on here, thats where mine came from. The wheels are 18" BBS VZ's with 225/40's. Hope this helps.
Pchende:
No thats great, i have been talking to him, a think it was your build thread i got his details from. Bit theres nothing better then asking someone who has the same car as me for first hand info on what they are like to live with. I am hoping these are slightly better at absorbing the bumps than coilovers. As i can stand the harshness. The fixed drop doesn't bother me as my car needs to stay at a practical height for various reasons
Do you have anymore side on pics so i could see how the car sits? Really appreciate the info.
Paul

Stanipkiss:
Thanks Lewis, take a look at pg6, full list of part numbers and costs there.
