I'm afraid I've been ignoring the mk5 for a while due to always picking this over it:-

My mate hit a tree and bent the shell beyond repair, then bought another one the same with a seized engine...


I'm still on the merc rims, but paint is lifting a little. So time for a repolish & repaint in something better?? (Read brighter)
American spec number plates & a fmic twintercooler on a TDi - don't mind if I do!!!

Had it at the SVAG annual show at the weekend - some post wash pics before the show:-





Slightly annoyed my front grill hasn't show up, and never got round to fitting the American size plates. But I'll get there!!
Maybe time to out the Phaeton's back on

Merc rims removed and now for sale!

Phaeton rims back on with new tyres - had to raise the car about 15mm as the tyres are slightly wider than the old Falkens! Even though still officially being 225's!

new grill/front end coming soon, along with boot spoiler and Twintercooler! :)
