Tyre City, Guildford. Brilliant!
Mk5 GTian:
Any Surrey boys out there, or peeps from surrounding counties, I can thoroughly recommend these guys. The place is pristine, with all the latest equipment. They stock pretty much every tyre you can imagine, it's massive! And you could eat your dinner off the floor!!
First they agreed to match the dirt cheap Camskill price (which is tyre only) and then added 15 a corner for balancing, new valves, fitting and promised a free alignment check.
Then when I asked them to be really careful with my wheels, they agreed to look over my wheels with me, agree any existing damage, and promised that the wheels would leave in exactly the same condition, or refurbishment costs would be met. You can't ask for fairer than that!
They have a nice waiting room full of old copies of Performance VW, and do good coffee!!
Won't be going anywhere else in the future. Anyt Costco saving I'd have made would have been lost in fuel travelling to either Croydon or Reading, It sounds like your rims are in danger from some of the feedback I've had, so I'll be buying locally from these boys in future. :happy2:

Pleased to hear you got your tyres sorted, Ian :happy2:
Bonus that Tyre City are local to you too.
Andy:
Glad you got sorted Ian

Excellent stuff, thank for posting that Ian. Am only 25 miles away from there so it will definitely be my port of call in the future. I worry more about my wheels than the price of the tyres TBH.
