HELP! Dried Cement Stain in Carpet!

(1/3) > >>

ripmateyy:
One of the most random questions ever asked, my father put some dry cement power in the boot of his merc to take down the the tip, now without his knowleage, it has now dried and set in the carpet.

I have assummed that now it has dried it will never come out properly but was wondering just on the off chance anyone can recommend anything to help with the situation?

Thanks in advance, if you cant help then i understand  :happy2:

He shouldn't have put it there to start with!

Oops.

I can't help thinking you're pretty knackered here. If you're going to end up buying a new carpet anyway though, you may as well take a shot.

Douse it in brick acid, then neutralise it with something alkaline.. It then may jetwash out. Dunno if it'll bleach the carpet, or even work for that matter?

HOw bad is it? Is this in the boot of his car or your house carpet?

Try scraping is with a dull blade and then hooving up the dust.
