Timing chain rattle.

Sorry, but the 2.0 TFSI engine DOES have a timing chain, albeit only a dinky one, at the flywheel end of the head.  The timing belt just drives the exhaust camshaft from the front of the engine, and the inlet cam is driven from the opposite end via the chain and an adjusting unit for varying the inlet cam timing!  :P

Its quiet long and now and again a few red herrings get thrown in,  but ultimatly the chain is at fault.
