Just what you need on a nice hot day like this.........

A big thanks to Neil and Ollie at THS Performance (and Neil's dad for the loan of the workshop) for getting up early on Sunday doing this while they were local to me after there day at Inters on the Saturday  :happy2:

A full review will follow in the next couple of days once I get some more miles on the car but initially impression is realy good and it has made a big difference to the car  :smiley:

Initial loggin on Sunday showed a big drop in intake temps. Typically it was running upto 30-40 degrees above ambient when pushing on for a while (so on a 20c day I was seeing temps between 60-70c) but now the highest I saw on Sunday was 20c above ambient.

The other good thing was the recovery of the temps was a lot quicker too  :happy2:

that looks exactly linke the s3 cooler except it has a logo on the top,

It will look similar to the S3 cooler as it fits the same space, but isn't just a rebranded S3 one  :smiley:

we should all data log our cars at santa pod down the strip,  then we can see alot more differences in different mods.  :smiley:

^^^ It will depend on numbers, but to give you an idea the list price for the cooler is £595.

Thanks, Steve.

Can you also find out the comparison details to an S3 cooler (core size and any other pertinent details for people who know nowt like me) and if aftermarket hoses, such as SFS ones can be used with it - I don't see why not, as the in/out should be in the stock locations?
