PAGID Brake - Part No's please.

<< < (3/3)

the bruce:
288x25 and 312x25 share the same caliper and so it's the same pad.

I doubt Pagids are crap and Bosch are any better. Both are OEMs. You won't
struggle with  AP, Ate, Bosch, Brembo, Ferodo, Hawk, Jurid, Pagid or Textar.

Just avoid EBC.  :fighting: And purchase where the shop is able to sell you
the correct parts without spending hours on looking for the part numbers.

Ever since ECP started selling Pagid as their budget brand of pads (using the pagid name as a sign of quality maybe?) we have had nothing but trouble with them. Its not just us either, loads of my friends and contacts in the trade hate them and even the local ECP rep recognises they are not great. Problems are:

overheating very easily
edges of pads crumbling
lots of pad transfer onto disc during early life causing brake judder
pad squeal
poor fitment

Pagid pads sold by ECP are NOT the same as the Pagid brand that makes the brilliant aftermaket uprated brake pads.

chungster:
Had a set of ECP supplied Pagid 345s with Pads.

Knew the price was too good to be true. Absolute trash they were on a soaking wet track day! Only 1 month old too. Promptly binned them for a set of APs.

To be avoided at all cost in my view.
