Lets talk buckets
keith:
When i was down at Inters last week i was drawn to the Dodo juice buckets and their grit guards they look great almost clear to see how bad the water is and carry 20gallons come with red and blue so you know which is rinse and which is wash the official dodo price is - £23.85 each or roughy £45 for both very steep for some plastic buckets :surprised:. Whats folks opinions on them and can anyone get a better price or a diff make.
VC:
i've got one, certainly didnt pay that for it!!
you can buy the grit guards separately for use in your own buckets
mines a meguires one iirc
oh and 100% worth it..... you should see what collects after a wash and you'll be very surprised

I have 2 of the Zaino buckets, very sturdy and have grit guards at the bottom. They also have screw on lids that make them great for shows etc as you can fill them up with hot water and travel with them without any spills :happy2:
Well worth the investment IMO
Got mine here

a few words on both buckets..
the dodo ones were known for shattering when they were released. They might have sorted that issue out by now, i am unaware.
the zaino ones are fantastic. really sturdy, you can easily stand on one. The lids are fantastic, and really are strong enough to keep your boot from being flooded from home to show.
One small niggle with them. they have a lip on the seal which seams to harbour grit when your tip the buckets empty. A nice little bead of silicone sorts this out, but some might not want to spend so much on buckets and have to silicone a lip.
My opinion on the zaino buckets still remain that they are the best buckets ive come across. There versatility and sturdiness more than make up for there little failing that is easily sorted.

Waste of money IMO.
