Foreign Trips - Specifically for Driving anybody done one?

Looking at my holiday being a Stelvio Pass trip. Have seen one with a company @ 750. This is starting in Baden Baden (Germany) then 5 nights 4 days around the area and the Stelvio.


Sounds steep to me has anyone organised their own trip like this before?

Obviously outside of peak times July/August. drivingtours.net do a 5 day event with boutique hotels and sat nav sent to you with pre planned routes etc. Just not convinced that -

1. That is the best price
2. I need a Boutique hotel to stay in
3. I want/need 5 days

Just drive down yourself and book all the accommodation separately.  :happy2:
