He's right about the peak numbers being irrelevant though Rich.
So why does everybody concentrate on them? :popcornsoda:

Because saying that your car has 300bhp for example is more impressive than saying it makes 280bhp but on average more power from 2000-5000 RPM.

Dynos are tools for tuning, safe logging and to visualise whats going on with the mapping. They where never build for rr days.

Says the man who at the start of the year hosted one of the biggest Rolling Road days in the history of Rolling Road days :signLOL:

....Yes, but hosting a Rolling Road day is just providing an enthusiasts' meet and some extra income towards the substantial cost of buying a rolling road as a workshop tool. I'm sure that JKM would say the same.
It's also an opportunity for us to see if there is anything fundamentally needing attention - A general health check.

Lol. My RR days are for "fun" an excuse to meet up have a laugh and sniff each other fumes.. My rr days are made to me fun, prizes for cars with low power ect.. If some one want to know how there car is running and what power it's at I will spend a good hour on the car logging and running then comparing data to give reasons why car is running x power on the dyno.
As for peak Bhp being the buzz number we all chase... What other number can we quote to give an indication of power?
