Rejuvinating chrome on plastic.

Got a jetta front bumper to go on my golf, And the chrome on the front grille has lifted slightly in a few places and is full of stonechips. Also the trim on the 2 lower grilles looks a bit tatty.

I was wandering if there is anything I could buy or do to get this back to "like new" condition. Is there any way of getting it rechromed?

X2. In the same position. Had a few quotes. One over 250!  :ashamed: I will update.

Other alternative is a smooth one from VW directly for about 150  :laugh:

Priced that up today, No way in hell i'm paying £150 for a peice of plastic!
