I've taken more time on the rear for a reason  I'm undecided whether to have the grill silver/ chrome or carbon fibre. It won't be all 1 colour. We're paint it to look like an OEM+ piece. Should be painted soon so we better hurry up and decide :pomppomp:
Again, Merci for the kind words :happy2:

For me, it's got to be chrome front with the blue body, lovely contrast. Bt it's your car(wish it was mine) and all the work you have done is first class, so I'm sure whatever you decide on I'm sure it'll look good. Ill just change it back to chrome when I buy it. Hehe.

Awesome build,
Was the reason for having the bumper re-made in fiberglass just for weight saving or have you got any plans to reproduce them?
Action jackson:
I think it's so it fits the new wider arches, but could well be wrong. I normally am

Why Thanks
Plans, there's been no plans, lol. The reasons being.......... It took me about 2 months of evenings and weekends to create the bumpers by means of plastic welding. I completely knackered a rear bumper in the process....... Chances of having a little ding with the power is relatively high and I wouldn't want to have to reproduce them again. Weight saving is a big part as well.
But the main reason was we didn't want it fatiguing over time and having hairline cracks appearing which is another big possibility with the launches being done in the car and general weathering.
Also it's great to be different.............

This is also very true as they was under a fair amount of force to pull them out the extra 40mm each side to match the new arches
Have a look back at them prepping the rear bumper....... They have added about an extra 1" of filler at the bottom outside edges to create a nicer line
I could replicate these to fit a standard width mk5 golf........... However I wish to be a little different from everyone else. I may change my mind as I have had a surprising amount of interest in them
