Matt I've been stockpiling petrol just in case, also been applying to work in the Middle East so I can afford both the car and fuel bills. But it'll be sooo purrty it'll be worth it. Oh and crazy fast,I really am envious, which is rare for me. I'm getting the wife a mk2 tt 3.2 as well so should be a nice set of cars once I'm done. Any news on how your doing the front grill

I think we've decided where were going with the grill but I'm leaving the final decisions with the painters.

Now we're on a roll......
Front bumper is complete and fitted. Just requires some tickling from the paint shop ready for paint. Big Thanks to Mike for surpassing my expectations
Rear has been tickled..
Another action shot to show how busy they are.......
MattR32T:
Phone call from Chris at the paint shop last night to discuss the works and I decided it was easier to go down and have a chat.... Apparently mine will be the last full paint job they do as their business has grown in other directions.......
Anyhow every thing is going to plan and their attention to detail makes me happy.
Petrol flap removed and stickers taken off ready for prep
While there I unsoldered the aerial
Final bit of prep on rear arches, they feel so smooth now
Bonnet has been prepped and primed......
Wings had a reaction so they was taken back and primed again ready for some paint now
Tailgate is finished in the primer department
Front bumper has been partially shaped, sat in the oven for a duration and primed. A little more opening of the vents is required and a tad of tickling then final primer coat ready for some colour. Final finish has been decided on both bumpers now
Rear bumper at the same stage as front and just requires no. plate light recess's cut out
Final prep work in engine bay and then body to be primed early part of week. Aiming to have rear of panels, shuts and bay in colour towards the end of the week......
