Painting the inside of my Monza wheels .. and Hubs

(1/3) > >>

OSB:
I'm thinking of painting the inside of my wheels. The outsides are in v good condition but the accumilation of dust and grime shows throgh the holes.
I don't want to go to the trouble and expense of having them sprayed as I'm not after a 'show car' But I want them to look nice!
So I am considering using Hammerite Special Metal Primer (except that its only available in red!) followed by or just using Hammerite Smoothright Silver. I recon I can brush paint neatly enough.
Any thoughts?
I also want to paint the exposed parts of the hubs.
I could use cans of spray for them, but a coat of Hammerite would be quicker!
Thanks

This will be nails to achieve a good finish.  You'll definitely have to mask off like a feckin' master masker then allow for 2 hours a wheel to get right if hand painting... better to spray and lacquer. Good luck though dude, post results:)

Deako:
You'll waste so much time, just get it refurbed professionally. Then take care of them properly once it's done.

OSB:
Thanks guys - you are prob right!
It costs £70 per wheel round here and I was just trying to avoid £280..........

Kalpsn2000:
Am I reading this right? You want to paint the insides because they are dirty? Would it not be a lot cheaper and easier to take the wheels off and clean them?
