130 PD TDi injectors and mapping
« on: February 04, 2013, 08:46:48 pm »
I know it's not a Golf or even a MK 5, but somehow ended up back in a Passat 1.9 TDi PD 130 Sport. Few questions please:

1. Where can I get decent refurbed injectors from or where can I get mine refurbed. Have an issue with #1 and possible #3 on the way out too when checking the HC levels. Might be sorted with a new loom, but who knows.
2. What remap is recommended for these and what sort of power am I looking at after. Wanting to keep it stock excepting for the remap.
3. What are the benefits and / or issues with the EGR delete?

Thanks

EGR delete will help keep your inlet manifold, valves etc clean. Have a look at Darkside developments website  :happy2:

R-Tech are well thought of on the uk mkiv's forum (and this forum). Nick will do you a fantastic remap for a good price. Expect 170-180bhp

Thanks chaps, yeah don't want anything crazy. Just a decent boost. Just need to sort out the running problems first.
