Honestly I couldn't really say mate the gt-r is ofcourse another level and I was very surprised at how lively the car is for a big car.. In terms of straight line speed I do think the gt-r will be faster but I also wouldn't be surprised if the golf held its own in the correct circumstances i.e 3rd gear roll, the gt-r has rolling anti lag launch which basically enables you to build boost with the accelerator flat down without moving and then press a button on the steering wheel and it really does take off like that lol
