Keep the updates coming please; I can't wait to see how the wheels turn out. Have you done a refurb before? I need one of my pescara's doing but never though of doing it myself- might give it a go now.

Cheers mate.

Refurbed a few of my wheels over the years. Never get as good results as professional powedercoating process, but only spent £20 on paints. Like with everything, preperation is the key. Morre time spent rubbing down and primer the better the outcome. In all spent a few evenings on these. Masking tyres up took a long time too.

Results, as wheels where off, freshened the calipers up with some hammerite gloss red paint:












And the wheels:

Removed the rear wiper and fitted the glass rear blank today.



Left it to soak in WD40 to help remove the arm:






Then removed the inner panel:






Then undid the 10mm nuts holding the wiper moter in:




Glass blank:




Held in place while silicon dried:




All done:




Inner trim panel was missing a clip, luckily had one in my parts department  :happy2::












Very pleased, much cleaner look. If anyone one wants the wiper arm and blade or the wiper motor PM me as both for sale.

Surely your reducing your rear visability ,especially in the wet?
