New Paint

Hi, just had the wings replaced on my '55 gti under warrenty. anyone know how long i should leave it before i give it a good clean.

In the past, paints used to have solvents and hence you had to wait for the solvents to gas off and the paint to fully cure - this was about a month. Nowadays, EU ruling means paints are waterbased and you don't have to wait as long.

Generally speaking, washing/polishing is okay - the issue was always sealing with LSP.
