18" monza refurb

(1/4) > >>

v2brett:
hi all, i had a spare wheel which was badly corroded due to being dropped which chipped the lacquer and caused this;

so then i masked the wheel, and carefully applied paint stripper

after cleaning and neutralising the wheel i then sanded it, starting with 800 wet and dry working up to 1500. after the 1500 i used autosol metal polish and this was the result,

hope this helps anyone planning on a wheel refurb. i have lacquered the wheel now and it looks excellent, i amazed myself with the results :driver:
