thanks for all the help dudes  :happy2:
No worries! - I am sure that there are plenty of people on here fairly local to you that can help with a PC/Select Plus. I can't remember how far you are from me?

just down the road dom (marlow) :happy2:  im all booked in for friday but will have to fill in some form and wait for my switch so hopefully wont take too long.

Not far away at all then (30 mins) - always help to help if need be. Out of interest, what Revo dealer are you using?

Just be aware that the ecu will need some miles to re-adapt after changing maps.

REVO / GIAC / APR are all good choices.

APR would be good if you dont plan to play with settings. Cruise I wanted and the toggling of maps is easy and self contained thru the stalk. depends how much you'll actually be doing it!
(as is REVO with SELECT PLUS tbh)

Going for some more APR therapy at Awesome on Thursday John.
KW Clubsports will be fitted then too.

Think I better start a small build thread and get the photo's uploaded. Will take some pics on Thursday.

I certainly use cruise quite a bit especially handy on the motorway through spedd restrictions or on nice relaxed long journeys.
Pearl Black Edition 30 3 Door. DSG. (3rd Edition 30)
Maybe on the too do list: APR Stage 2+, KW Clubsports, Brakes, Diff.

excellent, thanks for confirming that carl, as i spoke to keith about it the other day at JKM and he thought it might just be stock setting. so would that mean there is a restriction on the power meaning its lower than standard? what sort of power would it be?? its not a speed limiter is it?

I hope Carl doesn't mind but this is the user guide for the Select Plus. See page 7. Stock is Boost 1.

Just be aware that the ecu will need some miles to re-adapt after changing maps.

....And also that every time your battery gets disconnected, your Revo map will revert to stock. No problem though - You just load your Performance map back on.

I can't see why that would be a safe guard

Seams to me it's like the Performance settings are stored in some form of flash memory that isn't kept if the battery is disconnected for a while  :fighting2:

....

As I understand it, it safeguards your Performance settings but Carl would be able to explain it better. A battery disconnection resets the ECU (or something like that).

To be fair, while I have my gripes with Revo's customer service and support, I have been using the SPS Switch anti-theft feature everyday while working in Amsterdam and it works like a dream...
