nope, multi sizes dude, mines a JLAudio 13.5" sub and measures maybe 3/4" from face to rear

wafer thin and uber loud...but silly expensive tbh

but, boot spaces is almost the same as standard and i can get 2 huge suitcases in and still have my tunes on

That's reassuring then and yeah you've kept your boot space well. Looks a really impressive install.
I must be typing in the wrong keywords as google doesn't find much for 'slimline sub'. Are they classed as 'compact' or something else similar?

just hard to find really, not many companies produce thin subs at any great size, JL though is a market leader, certainly no complaints from me  :innocent:

I was going to suggest the JL TW5, it's the best performing slim sub.  You can get old school phase linear alliante subs which have great sound quality but won't go that loud.  The JL is a good choice
