I would stick with the oem one.. dont waste your money on aftermarket stuff when it comes to these.
These are best accessed via the drivers side front wheel arch when wheel is removed.
2 axel stands on the front and on your back you go...just under the turbo from accessing underneath on the k03 cars

Thank you for all your help. I'll get a new 'G' DV fitted and see what happens.

I had changed to a rev d a while back and whilst it operates ok always felt it didn't have the same responsiveness. This was confirmed as one of my little jobs at weekend was to install a new rev g. Car now has much more pull and less lag/ hesitation. The d looked in good condition but must have been leaking some boost.
R-tech-Nick:
G works and is air tight, The Ds work but bleed off boost from day one and get worse as they age.
I have tested 2 cars over the last week using uprated springs in the DVs, I have fitted spring which are 12.5% stiffer than the oem ones, the results so far are seeing much sharper crisper transition between gear changes. Need to test a few more cars inc Ko4 and the 25% spring we have.
