My Jetta TDI

Tank:
The colour is pretty close its just the way the light hits it. I'll get some pics done with a proper camera instead of my phone and it should look better
It still looks better than black plastic anyway.

Stanipkiss:
For a rattle can job it looks good Tank and at that angle the colour match looks very close.  :happy2:

What are you doing with your mud flaps? I would be interested at the right price.

Tank:
Sorry Stan but I'm keeping the mudguards on.

I installed the sound system the day I got the car but I will just post a few pics to show you what I've got.

Erisin 1058V http://www.erisin.com/erisin-es1058v-hd-3d-volkswagen-car-gps-dvd-player-pip_p297.html
I can't fault this unit at all. It has pretty much every feature ever put into a DVD player and it cost £180.

I tapped in to the bar on the fuse box, so on the right are the connections for my amp and reversing sensors.

This is the best pic i can get of the amp as it is tucked right under the seat and a pain to get out. Its an Alpine M350. When the seat is in its normal position it can't be seen at all. I have run a switch into the under seat drawer so i can turn the amp off if i need to.

I used Van Damme 2.5mm speaker cable from the amp to the sub and put gold plated banana plugs on the end so i can take my sub out very easily.

The box is from an old fusion sub and really needs replacing but this may take time as its pretty low on the priority list.

The speaker is an Infinity 1000w.

Installing the reversing camera was the biggest ball ache of the lot but in the end i got the cables in properly. The camera is next to the number plate light and cant be seen from most angles.

Andy:
excellent job tank

Yawn:
Car is looking really good and I'm impressed with your painting skills as it looks a good match to me  :happy2:

Where did you get your paint?
