Zaino?....

Need I worry about you spending your leisure time thinking about my Bat Cave, Stuart? Does your wifey/gf wonder why you feverishly utter the word in your sleeptalk? And hopefully not at other intimate times!!

Funnily enough I've just been out picking my daughter up (Dad's Teenager Taxi) and dropped her by the house and without thinking I said I was just going to put the car away in the Bat Cave. On hearing this her jaw dropped open and she asked me what I meant, so I had to explain it was due to my 'car mates' and my name being Robin as in Batman.

Anyway, the Bat Cave as it is now permanently known, hardly has room for a 12V battery due to all my exclusively car gear (oem bonnet, 17" Monza's, oem exhaust, oem brakes, etc etc etc etc) stored in there. Also, I don't need light in it because I only have room to squeeze in and out of the driver's seat and can't do anything in there. No drain pipes on it either. I own my house and garden but the garage is rented due to strange property deeds.

But I appreciate your thinking to help  :drinking:

Just to report that nearly a month later and only 2 coats of Zaino (a 3rd coat when circumstances allow) I am very pleased indeed. Wet 'n dirty weather and lorry spray is better resisted and the car is generally easier to keep clean using speed detailer. The really bad weather is yet to come but clearly Zaino will give extra protection.

She's not going to win any Show 'n Shine competition but that's not my scene. A couple of day's work on her has resulted in the benefit of lower maintenance.

Many Thanks to those who encouraged and helped with advice :drinking:

No problems robin

Have to say thanks as well - got hold of some Zaino and had the chance to get one application on the car at the weekend.  Couldn't believe how easy it was to apply and rub off - pleased with results too - photos don't really do it justice (only taken on the iphone you see!).

Will try to get a couple of applications on next time!  :happy2:

Whaheeey!! RedRobin is getting out the clay and Z again!

There's a bright blue sky'd sunny day all day today so I'm grasping the opportunity with both hands.

Having now done it once before I'm feeling much more confident. I've just re-read this thread and everyone was extremely helpful - Thx guys  :drinking:

I'll doubtless post some pics here in due course.
